Three missed calls by lunch. Two quotes sent last week with no reply. Nobody chasing either.
Somebody with a leak isn't shopping around for a fortnight. They ring three roofers off Google, take the first one who answers and can come out, and never think about the other two again.
Which is why "my website doesn't work" is almost never really about the website. The site got them to dial. The dial went to voicemail because you were forty feet up with a nail gun. That's not a design problem and no web firm has ever fixed it for you.
Then there's the other half: the quotes. Most roofers send a price and go quiet, because chasing feels like begging. The job goes to whoever followed up politely twice. That's it. That's the whole difference.
